Not quite, since that would likely restrict your single-core performance, setting an offset of -0.05v means you're only using a fraction of the power needed for the required clocks. The 3950x model sits around 4.2 with a 1.3v boost delivering 165w, while single-core boost could be around 1.4v at 4.6w. A -0.05v adjustment would bring it to roughly 1.25v for all cores and 1.35v for single-core, effectively addressing most overheating concerns in the 3900x. AMD provided some flexibility so CPUs wouldn't crash immediately. If power consumption is similar to my 9900k, a 0.05v offset translates to about a 20w reduction, though I'd still monitor temperatures on hot days.

soc handles the memory controller for your CPU. Check the manual for offset mode settings and try setting it to -0.05v on another note. Your RAM is at 2133, so consider enabling XMP one at a time.

A simple solution could be updating the BIOS you currently have, or using a newer version from the factory. Occasionally, older configurations have unusual or faulty settings, and reinstalling the current version would resolve the issue quickly. This approach also gives us more time to consider the new Taco Bell Double Stacked Tacos priced at just $1, compared to their regular price of $1.59. Wow, what a deal!

The SOC allows manual memory configuration. For now, set it to auto. I'll just apply -0.05V on the Dynamic core without using the SOC. Regarding XMP, I've already configured Profile 1 and it's running at 1800 MHz (TridentZ Neo 3600C16D). The image you mentioned comes from the Aorus Master manual, but I'm unsure which offset to use. I'll share updated temperatures and performance later, as I'm not currently viewing the PC.

My motherboard configuration matches what you said. I upgraded the BIOS to the latest firmware and reset the CMOS. Then I enabled PBO on the motherboard while keeping other settings at their defaults. I plan to try the xg32 offset suggestion next.

You're clarifying your approach. If you choose the PBO method, focus on the negative voltage offset. For the Anthony Video method, you can skip the negative offset.
