Just because. You'll end up with more pros by the time I finish here, lol. The board you choose can be upgraded to Ryzen 4000 chips. The 3900X works much better overall. It has a lower TDP and is simpler to cool. The AM4 setup gives better memory expansion. There could be others, but someone might have more ideas.

For other scenarios, go with a 3900x—significantly better across most tasks—and match its performance to the 10900k before considering its features. I'm considering moving to a 3900x board. This one isn't the most costly PSU or case since they're out of stock. I was thinking about upgrading to the 4.0 model. My CPU choice is the Intel Core i9-10900K at 3.7 GHz with 10 cores, priced at $529.99 at Best Buy. I'll pair it with the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum 97 CFM liquid cooler for $169.99 at Best Buy. For memory, I'm using the G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB DDR4-3600 sticks, costing $179.99 on Newegg. Storage options include the Seagate Barracuda 2 TB M.2-2280 drive for $54.99 at Amazon, and the Rocket 2 TB M.2 drive for $279.99 on Amazon. I'm also adding a 3.5" 7200RPM internal hard drive from Seagate for $54.99 at Newegg. For graphics, I'll install the Asus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB card for $1279.99 at Best Buy. Everything is just enough overkill to make me uncomfortable lol. I'd say get a 3950x if you can afford it, but the 3900x is also great, you could also think about the route of the 3900xt, which will have higher clocks but it isn't super promising so far. I'd recommend a 360mm aio cooler if you get the 3950x/10900k and plan to oc, or just for the looks. the Motherboard (manufacture) is fine, but I'd just want to point out the RGB ecosystems aren't really compatible (like the asus motherboard, corsair AIO, Phanteks case, and Logitech peripherals. The Asus and corsair gear will work together but not with phanteks or Logitech gear, which might look a little messy, just a fyi). The storage seems fine, if a little overkill but I cant judge. Honestly the Phanteks Evolv X isn't my favorite case, not by a long shot, and I recommended you try a Lian li case, such as the o-11d but this is mostly up to your taste, since you're not doing a custom loop or something like that. The RTX 2080TI is nice, just kind of loud at 100% fan speed-which isn't always a bad thing but for some reason the STRIX 2080TI is an inferno compared to some other cards. Not a bad choice, still. The PSU- like everything in the system is a little too overkill for my comfort, but should work fine- but you might not need that efficiency. Otherwise, same deal for the rest of the gear.
