I’m looking for a new CPU to swap in for your 3200G. The 3700X and 5600X are quite similar in price. Since you play beamng multiplayer, your 3200G runs at full capacity, but the 3700X offers more cores which could help with performance. Also, using remote desktop makes your 3200G slow and blurry, so a faster CPU would improve that experience.

If you're focused solely on the 5600X for gaming, it's a solid pick. For streaming and tools like Blender, the 3700X might be a better option.

It might work similarly to streaming, but it depends on your hardware. In CPU-intensive games, remote desktop can become slow and laggy, especially with a 3200G processor. I’m not sure if the extra threads on the 3700X will help much, since each thread is one game instance. It could be worth it only if you’re playing a game that really benefits from more threads, but otherwise it might not improve your experience much.

It seems the connection is likely the issue, not the device itself.

your computer is powered on with high-speed fiber connection. Performance drops noticeably during intense tasks such as playing Rust.

I’d pick the 3700X. Six cores are moving away from quad-core setups. Eight cores is what gaming needs now that next-gen consoles have arrived. But if I could get more performance, I’d aim for a 5800X—getting the best of both options.

The primary system will operate at full capacity. Network access for the user device is available for viewing and control.

Same location, another room—Gigabit fiber available. The laptop’s specs look good at around 4700U, but the Intel AX200 card only shows decent performance. The Vega 7 GPU is weaker, so it isn’t ideal for gaming.
