All RAM chips are located on one side in the single-channel design. I found an image on their website for reference. If they offered dual-rank options, they should have mentioned it.

Consider your setup before deciding. Since it's only a CL18, overclocking to CL16 might not be necessary unless you're aiming for maximum performance.
