Hello, I'm planning to enhance my system by replacing the CPU, RAM, and motherboard. Currently, I'm using an FX 8350 and a 1660 Super. I'm trying to figure out the best upgrade path—whether to go with a 3600 or a 5600X, and I'm aiming for gaming at 1440p by the end of the year.
Because you're streaming in 1440p, I'd receive 3600 credits when it's at or under the MSRP, and then use the savings from your GPU purchase.
I support especially high resolutions like 3440x1440 or similar 1440P variants, as performance shifts significantly based on GPU capabilities. I note that I use a 5600X on my console with a 240Hz 1080P display, while my main system runs a 5900X but streams on it.
