3300X works well for gaming in many situations, making it a reasonable choice. If you're looking to cut costs, it's a good value. You can also install it on an affordable B550 motherboard and later upgrade to a 5000 series Ryzen whenever needed.

It varies by game. Many current titles make use of extra cores, and this trend continues. This GPU is also significantly more capable than what the creator recommends, which is why I recommend the more affordable choice.
