For general use, word or school tasks, and browsing, I’d suggest 3300x. It offers a good balance between performance and quality.

3300X is best suited for high frame rate gaming on powerful GPUs. It's also available at a cost, so availability varies. This model is quite unique.

3300X works well for gaming in many situations, making it a reasonable choice. If you're looking to cut costs, it's a good value. You can also install it on an affordable B550 motherboard and later upgrade to a 5000 series Ryzen whenever needed.

In this scenario, I’d favor the 3300X, unless the 3600 offers a bargain under $20 or so.

The 3300x performs better in games compared to the 3600 due to its higher core clock speed.

It varies by game. Many current titles make use of extra cores, and this trend continues. Check out the review here: https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/35...-for-clock Most games see the 3600 outperform, while those with the 3300X gain only slight advantages. This GPU is also significantly more capable than what the creator recommends, which is why I recommend the more affordable choice.
