I’m evaluating your options for 16GB of RAM. The Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB offers two 8GB modules at a lower price, while the G.Skill Ripjaws V provides two 8GB modules at a higher price. You mentioned it’s about 10% slower with the Corsair, which might be noticeable with Ryzen processors. The latency calculations suggest performance differences of around 10ns versus 8.9ns, so you should notice the gap. Your intuition aligns with recent user experiences—this could indeed matter depending on your workload.

In games? Not really. For other matters? Perhaps splurge on it, though it won’t make much difference.

I believe references to other tech creators aren't meant to be considered offensive, so let's adjust the approach...

It's only a small change—about 2%—in some games, especially shooters and Ubisoft titles. It becomes more obvious when you adjust things further. No matter what stock you buy, the timing feels very loose. I wouldn't invest in anything with those multiples (3200/16 or 3600/18), because even a few dollars extra can make a big difference.

It really counts, though the gap isn't huge. The extra 15 dollars still adds up. With a minor adjustment to the SOC and DRAM voltages, you can always aim for 3600 with the 3200 setup. Time to rest now.
