I suggest using a dual channel 3600. Given the current RAM costs, this option is reliable and affordable.

Skip the numbers if you don't need them—here are some real-world latency examples: DD4 3200 MHz CL14 at 8.75 ns, DD4 3200 MHz CL16 at 10 ns, DD4 3600 MHz CL14 at 7.78 ns, DD4 3600 MHz CL16 at 8.89 ns. In this case, a 3200 MHz CL14 chip performs better than a 3600 MHz CL16 one.

Assuming standard sub timings, it matches 3200MHz CL16. The condition applies that 2nd and 1st gen don't operate at 3600MHz unless you have exceptionally precise CPUs.

I haven’t experienced that moment before. For reference, check the official AMD compatibility list first—it’s been verified with Ryzen processors. Your Corsair module isn’t listed there, but unlisted options could still function. Regarding performance, what tasks are you planning to run?
