Hi, should I purchase the CL16 3200MHZ at 115€ including shipping, or would it be better to spend more for a 32GB 3600MHz RAM at 190€? I’m not a gamer and don’t plan to use it much. Mostly I work with Intellij Idea, run a server quietly, play games occasionally, use Chrome with tabs open, and listen to music—I can’t imagine focusing on anything else. Please let me know what you think!
I needed the 3600Mhz RAM which was the G.Skill Trident Z. Once Zen 3 CPUs arrive I’ll replace everything except the RAM and NVMe SSD.
I’d choose 3200MHz. That’s sufficient for Ryzen processors unless you intend to overclock significantly. From what I understand, you’re not aiming for high performance.

In my country, a 32GB 3200mhz CL16 HyperX model costs over 135€ for the non-RGB version, and the same goes for the carsair LPX at around 125€. The only RAM I've found on Amazon under 110€ is the G.Skill Aegis. It seems like a 3200mhz 16GB Aegis from a friend is likely Samsung, though I haven't verified if it's a B-Die model. On B-Die platforms, T-Group Delta isn't considered a B-Die. RAM prices can vary so much—it's strange why some are so expensive while others are quite affordable. If manufacturers mainly use Hynix, Samsung, Micron for chips and industrial-grade PCBs are standard (except occasionally), shouldn't they generally perform well? Still, I'm not very experienced, so I hope I'm not saying anything foolish. Thanks for your understanding.
