I have an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC with Ryzen 7 2700X, RX 580 8 GB and 2x16 GB 3200 MHz DDR4 (G-Skill Ripjaws V, F4-3200C16D-32GVK). I'm not reaching the rated 3200 MHz, and I'm wondering what BIOS settings need adjusting to hit that speed. It's been ten years since my last PC, so things have changed a lot—it feels like optimization isn't as straightforward now... 😀

Memory should fit into the A2/B2 categories and XMP must be activated in the BIOS. If this fails, a motherboard BIOS update might be necessary.

Thank you for the response. I've set the XMP option as requested (I'll add an image to this thread later), the RAM is in A2/B2 slots which was helpful, but updating the BIOS didn't resolve the issue.

Your information isn't listed for QVL memory compatibility on your motherboard, so XMP performance isn't assured.
