Hello, I'm working on finalizing my new setup. For the CPU, I've chosen the AMD 3700X on a B550 board. Regarding RAM, I'm still deciding. A 3200 CL16 seems like a great deal right now, but I'm not sure if it's sufficient for the 3700X or if upgrading would really boost performance. The 3600 CL15 or 3200 CL14 could cost more without much extra gain, so I'm uncertain about the value of the extra expense. My main focus is on gaming, aiming for around 90% of that. In most games, the gap between 3200 CL16 and 3600 CL16 will be small. If you locate a 3600 CL16 set at a reasonable cost, it’s a good choice. Otherwise, 3200 should suffice for about 99.9% of players.

The Cas 14 latency could improve performance, though we view it as diminishing returns. Higher cost with limited significant benefits. Regardless, both options seem to offer solid B-Die quality and could benefit from adjustments. Ryzen performs exceptionally well with even latency values, but the best results come from something around 16-16-16-36 at 1.35GHz.
