I aim for a concise rewrite of your request. You're planning a BIOS update on a Laptop running Windows 64-bit, but only 32-bit updates are available.

To ensure compatibility and optimal performance, the system was upgraded to a 64-bit version despite the original hardware being 32-bit.

Windows updates are built for 32-bit systems, yet the BIOS remains bit-transparent and supports both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.

The BIOS works the same way regardless of the x-bit architecture. It’s independent of the bits used.

Attempt to yell at it messily. Likely a 64-bit OS will work in theory but probably only in 32-bit mode. Probably the CPU is just 32 bits, so full 64-bit support isn’t possible on this machine.

You need to verify your Windows version before proceeding. The process involves checking compatibility and ensuring you have the right tools installed.

They don't offer a single option because maintaining 64-bit BIOS updates is unnecessary from a technical standpoint.
