I just added a 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz RAM in my Ryzen setup. The memory is showing 2133MHz, but if I try to set it to 3000MHz the PC crashes and reverts back. On my Asus B450 Gaming motherboard, I’m not sure how to fix this issue.

Operate at a lower frequency first; if necessary, adjust all voltages and timings again

Do you only adjust the DRAM speed settings within the BIOS, or do you also activate the XMP/DOCP configuration?

It seems you've encountered an unexpected issue where the DOCP/XMP configurations aren't consistently reliable. As mentioned earlier, @Jurrunio suggested two options: lower the RAM frequency or manually adjust timings and voltages. Additionally, updating the BIOS to the latest release might resolve stability problems.

Also consider adding a bit more voltage—try around 1.38V and observe the effect. This adjustment comes after you've applied XMP and increased the power supply. Which components were you fitted?

Consider your level requirements. If you're at A1/B1, transitioning to A2/B2 might be appropriate for further development.
