3 pin power LED connected to 2 pin MoBo connector?
3 pin power LED connected to 2 pin MoBo connector?
I've just gotten my Antec 200. The power led cable can accommodate three pins, yet the motherboard only has two. It's not plugged in yet, but I want to check the computer's activity. Any idea how to remove the middle pin?
No problem at all.
I've tried everything I could think of and still nothing works.
Appreciate the effort.
Does the Antec 200 feature LED fans similar to the 900? The 900 lacks a power LED, so its fans rely on LEDs for power indication. However, if required, you can follow these steps:
The power LED lead includes a three-pin header socket with the central pin left open. Cut the header at the empty pin and use a sharp knife to press it. Afterward, smooth out any rough edges along the break line.
It's clear the fans don't use LEDs, and I appreciate the suggestion.

But if you need to, here's what you can do:
The power LED lead has a three pin header socket with the center pin empty. Simply break the header along the empty pin. Pressing on it with a sharp knife works. Then sand off the rough edges along the fracture line.
Well... Sry for the revive but I must thanks

I just had new parts assemble to my old case and I was stunned from this problem. This solution worked like a charm. Thanks again.
