4 cores aren't enough for optimal performance. Prior to getting the Ryzen setup, I struggled with games like Battlefield 1 using a Core i5 4570, constantly hitting 100% usage and barely managing more than 50 FPS. Now I'm seeing over 130 FPS.

I suggest opting for the i5 9400F since you mainly play games. It delivers a boost up to 4.1Ghz and costs roughly the same as the Ryzen 5 1600 in my country. Checking benchmark videos on YouTube shows solid performance.
