I own an old Cosmos S case with a top bay designed for three 120mm fans. While trying to upgrade, I purchased a CORSAIR HYDRO SERIES H115i PRO RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler, along with a 280mm radiator and dual 140mm ML Series PWM fans. There is ample space for the cooler, but the pre-drilled mounting holes on both the case and the cooler don’t match up. Could anyone recommend a bracket or adapter that would make installation easier? Any ideas would be helpful.

Anyone have ideas for a bracket or adapter that could make this easier to install? I’m not sure if there’s an adapter for such a specific configuration, but I’d love to hear any thoughts. Perhaps a straightforward modification is possible. One idea is to use at least one of the existing holes as a starting point, cover the area with masking tape before drilling the new ones, and then center punch the marks with a nail or tape. This should help keep the drill steady until it fits properly.

Oh yeah...now that brings what you're doing into focus.
Either way is highly sub-optimal however as it's essentially mounting 140mm fans over 120mm blow holes thereby blocking 20mm of outer blade surface area. I have to think this will seriously compromise airflow through the radiator which AIO's depend heavily on for cooling performance. I can also see an increase in noise if blade tip turbulence is interfered (depends on how it gets mounted I suppose) and the fans have to operate faster at even moderate processing loads to provide the same cooling performance. And it will thermally saturate sooner at high processing loads.
If you want true 280mm performance that's quiet then make sure as much material blocking the radiator as possible is removed.... in the case and those adapters if used.... using a Dremel or a tin nipper. If you can't do this I'd really suggest a 240mm AIO that fits may do the job for you better, or even a 360mm if you can.
