I attempted to improve my cooler setup. The CPU was removed from its socket and attached to the cooler. I’ve been using 70% alcohol, but nothing has worked well since the CPU sits very close to the cooler. I also tried an Arctic clean thermal material remover, using the floss method, but it’s too thick to reach underneath. Heating the heatsink instead of twisting gave a solid feel, and all pins appear aligned. Please let me know if you need further guidance.
