Received the motherboard via RMA after a failed BIOS update and shipped with revision 4.1. Tried an OC of 1.3875v on the LLC auto + 4.1GHz setting. Boot worked, so I launched OCCT AVX2 Small and waited. Hardware info showed thermal throttling on HCT and PROCHOT EXT, but OCCT reported no issues. Clock speeds dropped to around 550MHz. Initially puzzled since CPU temps stayed below 80°C (about 74°C) and OCCT didn’t flag errors. Recently, I’m worried about installing BIOS version 4.10 on the 2600X—should I downgrade to 2.63B? (latest BIOS without that warning).
