We require more details about the motherboard you're planning to use. The QVL for most X99 boards is quite limited when it comes to speeds over 2133 (JEDEC for X99). Considering an additional $200 on RAM would make it sensible to choose a kit that has been verified and approved by the manufacturer. DDR4 isn't the same as DDR3, and based on my experience with X99, these boards tend to be quite selective about compatibility.

Why would you choose such a costly motherboard? The X99 Pro or A model would suffice perfectly.

You have two options: a 2400 MHz CL17 module or a 2666 MHz CL19 module. The 2400 MHz version is more affordable, so consider your budget and whether the performance difference matters for your needs.
