You need more memory instead of higher speed and you’re not using the IGPU. Even with Zen(+) scaling, performance is still good on faster RAM. If you really want more CPU power, consider swapping in a used 30$ 3100/3300x/3500x or a 50$ 3600(x) stick. If the RAM sticks are similar in speed, you can get up to 3200/3600. You can check compatibility using the Thaiphoon burner. For custom configurations, mixing sticks works well—just ensure the internal timings match. For example, with three different sticks, the first two (1Gb PCIe and G-series) are close, while the outer stick (4GB 2x8 Hynix) could push it higher. I’ll verify this with the burner. If you have a board that supports separate timings per channel, it’s worth trying.

Spoiler: With a good mix of sticks, you might reach 2800+ or even 2900 stable. For more stability, check the burner for both 4GB and 8GB options, keeping in mind that 2400-2500 is likely to run slower.
