Current specs are 2200G, 3200x2, aiming for a 3400G upgrade. Considering the 4000-series APU—check if your A320 chipset can handle it. Since you mainly stream and play light games, performance gains may be limited unless you need heavy workloads.

Wait for the 4000 series APUs and invest in a B450 series motherboard. It's better to boost their overclocking potential so you get maximum performance from what you pay for.

New Zen 2 APU models have a unique AGESA code. It appears A320 isn't compatible with Zen 2 APUs, which means you can only use up to 3400G as the top option.

I’d hold off on upgrading your motherboard until you’ve upgraded your APU. The Zen+ APUs aren’t a significant upgrade compared to the Zen line. They offer similar Vega graphics. You’d notice better results by switching from a Ryzen 3/Vega 8 card to a Ryzen 5/Vega 11, or even more so by purchasing a used 2400G for a much lower price than a new 3400G. Based on the 4000-series enterprise APUs from AMD, both CPU and GPU performance are expected to increase noticeably with Zen 2 APUs.

@MrGuGuZai Precisely, just as @aisle9 mentioned, the distinction between zen and zen+ is negligible. While I was considering the Zen+ 3400G, we debated with other members and ultimately chose the 2200G due to its lower price. I boosted it to 3.9GHz and set the iGPU to 1650MHz. Upgrading your existing chip with a better motherboard will yield noticeable performance gains! Good luck!
