Hello, thanks for reaching out. I'm trying to install Ubuntu 20.04 on my 2017 MacBook Pro (13-inch, no touch bar). I also have Catalina and Windows 10 installed. The trackpad functions well in both macOS and Windows, while the keyboard works across all three OSes. It worked during installation but after the installer ended, the cursor wouldn't move when using a USB mouse. It functioned properly once during recovery, though it stopped working again on subsequent attempts. Please let me know if you need further help.
The 2016-2017 Mac Books experience with the T2 chip causes problems. A workaround exists that you can try, though I haven't personally tested it.
