I recently tried a small portion of the closed beta over the weekend. So far, I’m enjoying the experience. There are a few areas that need improvement (such as hitbox alignment, jump accuracy – we’ll go into more detail later), plus some minor adjustments and polishing. As an experienced Call of Duty competitive player, this game reminds me of classic FPS gameplay that’s been lost in newer titles. I’m interested to see if others have played it and how they feel about it.

I tried it. So far it works well. Gun handling feels natural and the motion flows smoothly. What bothered me was the lack of jumping precision. Blazing while turning a corner is too accurate. Particularly in competitive play, that’s noticeable. I’d like to see less jump accuracy during jumps. Also, the lag is too high—FPS is almost perfect, but hit response and hit zones are off. Can you shoot through wooden walls? Probably not, but I often die behind corners. From a gameplay perspective: I don’t like seeing how long it takes to defuse a bomb and how much time remains. Not knowing the remaining time adds tension. The card system in comp is great and refreshing, offering many tactical options.

The fix for jump accuracy was completed in the latest update. Review the Steam details—it includes a diagram.

We previously played 5v5 SnD and 5v5 CTF during the CoD United Offensive period. 5v5 works well for us.
