I have two RAM choices that are almost identical in price. Both offer the same latency of 10 ns, but I think higher frequency matters more. Should I pick one? Note: My system is an R5 3600.

The faster RAM is superior. It's possible to lower its speed if needed.

It varies based on whether your CPU supports 3600 units or not.

3600cl18 suggests lowering to 3200cl16 or below when necessary, such as when the CPU struggles with 3600MHz.
