16g corsair vengeance 3600hz in a board lacking compatibility
im using a gigabyte b450m ds3h motherboard and was wondering if 3600hz ram would be bad to use temporarily until i get my new motherboard
Usually the board slows things down. My motherboard has 1600MHz RAM, but it drops to 1333MHz since the CPU can't handle it.
It's not functioning properly. The device is operating at 2133. Enable XMP for improved performance, and adjust the speed settings to 2933 or 3200 for stability.
