With the 3300x dropping tomorrow, I wondered whether to hold off until the 1600af is back in stock or go ahead and buy the 3300x. Since my setup is mostly for editing and a bit of gaming, I’m unsure what’s best. Should I wait and spend $85 on an older model, or should I pay $30 more for the newer one? Let me know your thoughts.

Need some threads for streaming game editing? A 32GB RAM setup would be perfect.

3300x isn’t optimal for editing. It falls short of the 3600 mark. Consider aiming for a higher setting. As mentioned earlier, you should seek additional threads or cores for workstations.

Aim for a response close to 3600 characters.

The 1600AF will cost more than $85 because of high interest. I noticed it for $150.
