if you are happy with the performance(sounds like it), why change anything?

I'm really pleased with the result now. The hardware and speed aren't quite what I expected, but it's a lucky turn of events! I plan to keep using this configuration for some time.

A 1050 to 580/590 isn't a genuine improvement. Investing in a PSU and GPU just for a minor performance edge doesn't seem worthwhile to me—about 300 dollars is probably too much. It's better to save it for something more substantial.

Silicon lottery focuses on overclocking potential or the maximum voltage a chip can handle without damage. It’s about performance beyond basic speed. Your concern is whether the hardware is working properly. With a 6-year-old locked CPU, a 4-year-old lower-end GPU, and a 5-year-old game, benchmarks show what you expect. -> Shifted to PC Gaming
