Looking at the information you shared, this model might handle the heat well enough for your setup. The 12900K is designed to manage power and temperature effectively, especially compared to the 280mm cooler you're currently using. Since your GPU is long enough to fit a 360mm cooler without blocking the front slot, it should work. A custom watercooler with two 280mm radiators could also be a solid choice if you want better cooling performance.

280mm works well if it has good build quality. The chip does get warm, but only during specific workloads that don’t reflect typical daily use. For gaming tasks, a high-end air cooler is enough. But for heavy tasks like video editing or 3D modeling, consider water cooling with a premium AIO or custom loop.

You're using a Corsair H115i RGB Platinum. It might be best to purchase a CPU and mainboard first, then check temperatures with this cooler. If the processor overheats, consider a custom loop setup with 2*280mm radiators.
