BIOS updates shouldn't affect RAM size. If your RAM isn't listed, another problem might be present.

Is there a problem with the CPU or RAM? The system requires memory compatible with version 1.0. That’s the only change needed. You’d only need to update the BIOS if you’re using the 9000-series processors.

Don’t press hard, just place the CPU gently and let it settle naturally. It should align properly without forcing it.

The process involves additional steps when replacing the CPU and cleaning old components. If using a cooler with pre-applied thermal paste, you can proceed easily. Installing the CPU itself is straightforward and doesn’t demand much effort or time. The cooling component tends to be the more time-consuming part. Watch a few installation guides for AM5 CPUs—they are generally comparable. Also, look for videos tailored to your specific cooler model.

Please be very careful, use gentle movements. The CPU needs a specific spot to fit, and as long as the corner signals align, it will settle properly.

Reduce the CPU speed, then secure the latch, apply the goo to the CPU, and finally install the cooler.
