Hey everyone, I’ve got some experience with building PCs over the past 30 years. I’m a bit older now, but I’ve tried overclocking a few times. However, with the intel chips these days, it feels like there are too many settings for CPU overclocking in BIOS. I don’t want to risk damaging anything. My machine is a 12600KF running at 1.3V locked P Cores at 5GHZ stable. I haven’t pushed it much beyond that. Personally, I’ve noticed that keeping the voltage at 1.3 and running all cores at 5GHZ gives better stability compared to leaving everything on auto. I was pleased when I achieved 5GHZ. With the upcoming 12700KF, I’m curious if I can reach even higher speeds—maybe 5.1 or 5.2GHZ. Any advice would be appreciated. Should I consider per-core overclocking, like one core at 5.1GHZ and others at full speed, or stick to all cores? Also, should I set a watt limit to ease the load this summer? Thanks, Shaun.
