Hello Smile You have a home network with cat-6 cables and a 10Gbit connection from your ISP. You already have a Nokia router with four 10Gbit ports, but you need more. You have two desktops (your and your girlfriend's), a NAS, a home server, and an HTPC—all running at 10Gbit. You also have around eight 1Gbit devices (mainly gaming consoles) and one 100Mbit retro PC. You're looking for a switch that supports at least five 10Gbit Ethernet ports, ideally more. No extra features needed.

The most affordable choice I considered was the lowest-priced model available.

Which router model are you interested in? How does it work with your setup, especially regarding the 10Gbit connection? If you have a switch, could you share how it functions for you? I'm also searching for one.

According to the guide, it seems this device is the Nokia XS-250WX-A. I haven't checked it with a 10Gb Ethernet connection yet, but once the switch is connected and my computer is plugged in, I'll perform speed tests and share the results. It appears the router only has a single 10GB Ethernet port, which I mistakenly thought in the manual, so a switch is definitely required.

Came to inquire about the same topic. Thanks @imcaspar. Just installed a Cat 6a cable in my home, now I need the rest of the equipment to work with it!
