10900ka - Avengers: The Movie Edition
What are your thoughts on this? Is it the same as a regular 10900K? Since in my country the 10900K is worth 801 dollars and the 10900KA is 770 dollars, does this collaboration make sense if the game isn’t included? It seems a bit confusing to me.
It seems like it's just a 10.9 GHz chip with a nice case, no real performance boost.
It's unusual to see Intel's recent marketing efforts aimed at everyday consumers. Their previous campaigns often feel more like presentations than relatable content. I own an i9 10900k and really enjoy it, but I wouldn't recommend skipping the 360mm AIO for better gaming performance compared to the i5 10600k or i7 10700k. The Thermal Velocity Boost is only effective when the CPU temperature stays under 70°C.
Honestly, the goal is to confuse. Picture yourself as a Joe Schmoe shopper browsing a selection of CPUs. You're trying to pick the Avengers—do you go with what's included, or look for something unique that sets it apart? Either choice would be wrong, yet many people follow these patterns. Intel is exploiting this mindset in its marketing. That’s the whole story.
