10900k vs 5800X in gaming?

Hi guys, I´m planning to build pc (as seen in in my signature) and now im concerned i should go Intel? The 10900k is the same price as the 5800X in my Region (I´m in Austria) and I dont know wich one to buy. Or should I wait for Gen. 11? Any Help is appricated!

The variation lies in the margin of error. For esports titles, choose the 5800X. If you're mainly gaming, either option is fine, but for multithreaded applications, go with the 5800X.

I'm thinking about playing cs:go, destiny 2, sea of wars, and gta 5. It might be a bit light on work, maybe just some python for fun.

Go for the 5800x. In CS All ZEN 3 CPUS absolutely destroy the 10700k and 10900k. (Sometimes there is a 200fps difference)
