1080ti Upgrade - Sufficient for Predator 360?
1080ti Upgrade - Sufficient for Predator 360?
The title mentions that I'm using an EK-Predator 360 on my old i7-930 machine. I intend to add a 1080ti later when I acquire one.
My questions are:
1) Is the 360 rad enough to support both my CPU and GPU after they are overclocked?
2) What impact would adding another 240 rad have on temperature and noise? Would the pump be able to handle two more components (GPU Block plus 240 radiator)? I’d only have space for a compact model like the EK-CoolStream SE 240.
Thanks and looking forward to your feedback!
It wouldn't significantly change things. Seeing a 1-2C temperature drop would be the biggest expectation, even that much.
Your CPU and GPU at their standard power limits total 280w. You should likely be fine even after overclocking. The Predator 240 performs well at about 300w with a 10C voltage drop. Adding the GPU would also be acceptable.

Adding the GPU would probably be beneficial. Thanks, Rubix. Clarification: would using a larger radiator improve temperatures? I'm considering higher fan speeds for better temps.
