I recently sold a home build PC with these details: i5 6500 3.2ghz, 16gb DDR4, 2400 RAM, Gigabyte GTX 1070ti GPU. The buyer mentioned they’re seeing better FPS on an i5 2400 with 14gb DDR3 and GTX 1060. The machine was in good shape and used very lightly—no mining or overclocking. Thoughts? TIA Dan
Unless you agreed to terms that include post-sale assistance and warranty, the issue lies with their device.
They connected the monitor directly to the motherboard instead of the GPU.
It looks like you're trying to resolve a driver issue. Consider removing drivers via DDU in safe mode (optional: configure this in DDU). Turn off Windows' automatic driver install feature and reinstall the graphics drivers.
