i have an asus 1050ti cerebrus/i7 3770 with 8gb ram, two hard drives, and i'm experiencing micro stuttering. it's really noticeable—valorant at 50% cpu usage, 30% gpu usage, fps dropping to 160-180 when shooting, but then it falls to 130-120. i don't know the exact issue, whether it's windows problems, hard drive issues, or cpu/gpu problems. i tried checking hardware gpu acceleration and removing gamebar/notifications, but no solution found. fps drops significantly in valorant compared to fortnite or csgo. hope you have a great day!

You currently have two hard drives and no SSD. To improve performance, consider purchasing an SSD such as a Samsung 860 EVO or Crucial MX500. You may need to clone your existing Windows setup using software from the SSD manufacturer or another cloning tool. Alternatively, you could reinstall Windows completely. Best of luck,

It seems like you're referring to thermal throttling. When was the last time you refreshed your system and updated the thermal paste? An SSD generally won't significantly impact gaming performance, if at all. The main benefit would be minimal cost without solving the underlying issue.

Thanks for the suggestion, but someone with a $1050k budget and an i7-3770 can't afford an SSD. Smile 75Hz and 1440x900 resolution for seven days ago! I change it every month.

This might be due to significant disruption.

Avoid this option. Use something like MX-4 and review it every couple of years.

That is really big issue. Only time when your GPU usage should be under 80% is when GPU is hard botllenecked by CPU, and looking at CPU usage it isn't. How long have this been issue and have you tried different version of drivers.

after installing the i7, i assumed it would be great for gaming, but not all titles perform well. some games like valorant and cs:go need just a few cores, while others such as fortnite and apex work fine with high clock speeds. however, for games like those mentioned, it runs smoothly even though i noticed stuttering. after several tests, it seems my hard drive or windows might be the issue, not the processor itself. it didn’t help that i tried checking windows or the drive.
