CS struggles significantly with maintaining higher frame rates on Ryzen, especially in Valve Source titles like Team Fortress 2, since it isn't optimized for more than four cores. The latest update might have further affected these optimizations.

People notice how much work AMD puts in, and it makes us wonder why Intel and Nvidia don't follow suit... sighs... CS is a really popular game that many AMD buyers want to play, which is really disappointing to hear Ryzen beat up at CS, sighs.

Still I wonder why you have a 2070 using a 20 year old game. It doesn't add up. Those graphics are terrible—just bad textures and flat walls... haha, maybe you should upgrade to an Intel and play CS, or switch to Quake Champions and Unreal Tournament Alpha, and stop playing those awkward war games.

Try Team Fotress ... if you're concerned about the FPS count.

I wasn't aware that CS:GO came out in 1998.
It's impressive how Valve could achieve such quality graphics back then.
